Bonnie Helping Papa Drive to Charleston

This is our sweet little Bonnie. She likes to help her Papa drive. She always has to sit on his right knee, put one paw on the steering wheel and he has to hold her right paw while rubbing it. Some people say she is a Diva. I think she is just amazing. What do you think? :)

Sassy Cupcake

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge 17 has a Birthday Theme! When I read the challenge this week, my first thought was to have this Sassy Little Cheryl pop out of a cupcake! I know, I used the same concept last week when she popped out of a sunflower, but I couldn't resist! She is just so darn cute - a real cupcake.

I love this Simple Birthday Thanks stamp from Stampin Up. I ran some craft paper through my crimper and used that for the cupcake base. I used some pink paper from my stash and ran that through my Cuddle Bug The striped paper and the printed papers are from the Paint Your World-Sheri Rose collection from Dream Street Papers. The Happy Birthday stamp is from Artful Legacy. I used my Copics to color and Pixie Pink ink from Stampin Up to distress different areas of the card. I tied a frilly tulle bow along the bottom.

Hope you enjoy this fun little card. Cheryl I hope you don't mind if I made you a Sassy Little Cupcake, who know what I will make you next. Thanks for the great digis! You are the best!

Have A Happy Day Every Step of The Way

If you are checking back on my blog and think this card looks different, you are right! When I originally edited it for posting, I sharpened the colors too much. I corrected it and now it is the pale pastels that it is in real life!

I made this card for my monthly Stampin Up Club. Each month we inspire each other by bringing in items we made from previously purchased Stampin Up products. The "Show and Tell" sessions have really been a hit. We should call them our Enabler Sessions. Because believe me they have really increased the ticket sales. Ha Ha.

This month I chose to use stamps from Garden From The Heart and Picnic Parade. I stamped everything with Soft Suede ink. I cut the fence out with my Cricut "My Community" cartridge. The flower pot is a Sizzix. I made the cobblestones with Cuddlebug embossing folder (sorry I don't know the name of the folder). The background is shaded by chalking shades of blue, yellow and pink for the sky and shades of green for the grass. The birds stamped in the sky are from Scene It. Shading and coloring were done with colored pencils and Stampin Up Markers. I used pop up tape to give everything some dimension.

Hello World, Isn't It A Great Day!

Isn't this a happy little bit of sunshine? Sassy Cheryl's logo image was the perfect center for this card. Put a message inside of the card,"When Life Hands You Lemons, Make Lemonade and you will be certain to cheer up a friend. How about an invitation to a summer backyard barbecue, or a birthday greeting? Sassy Cheryl is just telling to the whole world, Be Happy!
I created this card for Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #16. We were supposed to make flowers. How do you like this sunny little flower? The image is Sassy Cheryl's logo, the papers are from Cosmo Cricket, My Mind's Eye and K & Company. I used my "Stretch Your Imagination" Cricuit cartridge for the sunflower. The black center is embossed with the Swiss Dot folder from Cuddlebug. The sign was from Stampin Up and I distressed the edges with Stampin Up Soft Suede ink.
Have a Happy Day and thanks for stopping by!

Attitude With Glitz

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge 15 is to use embossing. I have used my cuddle bug embossing folders for two of the elements in this one. The purple argyle print paper is from Hobby Lobby and the card stock is Stampin Up. I colored with copics and used chalk to shade the background. I also chalked over the swiss dots on the ruffled border. Ribbon, Red Glitter and the Gem are from my stash.

I love this spunky little girl and the spunky little girl I made this card for will know it is for her the minute she sees this post. Hope all the rest of you spunky girls can identify with this sweetie. Thanks for looking!

Birthday Surprise

I just loved this little Sassy Cheryl's digi so I had to use her again for my granddaughter (by heart, not by blood)Savannah. Savannah and her cuz, Ashley are so close I thought I would play it safe and make them each a version of the card. There is one more member of these 3 Musketeers, so I guess I better use it again for Kaylee's B-Day in July. I have another granddaughter, Caroline but I have a special image in mind for her B-Day in September. I bet she can guess what it will be. Just check back in September to see that one!

The designer print papers are from "My Minds Eye collection. The card base is Stampin UP and the Green polka dots are from K & Company. The green flower is from Floral Embellishments. I used my copics to color my digi.
Thanks for taking a peek, enjoy your week!
