A good friend of mine, Denise Benedetto  held a Halloween card class.  I don't get the opportunity to attend many of these classes anymore but I had to go to this one.  She sent me an invitation for some fellowship.  Fellowship combined with paper, my goodness that sounded heavenly.  I immediately sent my RSVP and am I glad I did.  Just look at all the cute cards I made.  Isn't Denise a talented paper designer?

This is one of the things I have been doing lately.  What have you been doing?  Snap a photo of it and post it here.  Who knows you may win one of the awesome digis from Sassy Cheryl herself.  If not, you will still have fun peeking into everyones world to see what they have been up to.

Happy Crafting,

Halloween Photo Album

Sooo last week I told you I would post pictures of some of the things I have been working on, but life got in the way and nothing was posted.  I still have some things I want to get on my blog, so maybe tonight I will post a second one and schedule it for tomorrow.

I just had to show you this little photo album.  My bestie bud, Jeni (Flip Flop Creations) taught this at our Inky Digits Club Tuesday night.  Jeni is a sweetheart, but she does suffer from 2 VERY STRONG addictions:  Paper and Starbucks. She justified both addictions by combining them for this album.  It is made out of the Starbucks coffee sleeves.  We covered them with Halloween paper, punched 2 holes for the rings and began to decorated them to our hearts content.  Some of the pages are left open at the top to serve as pockets for memorabilia or journal notes.  I have left many of the pages undecorated so I can add my photos of kids and grans dressed up in Halloween costumes.

I haven't put the photos in, that is on my "To Do" list for next week.  I have this sitting on my china hutch right next to my Sassy Cheryl framed art.  It is doubling as a Halloween decoration.

So drink your Starbucks, recycle your coffee sleeves and post a picture of your creation.  I would so love to see if you make one of these.  They would be perfect for any occasion.  If you would like to see Jeni's and some of my other Inky Digit pals albums pop on over to Inky Digits Facebook page.

Happy Crafting Ya'll!

Turtle Brew

I didn't like the way the top picture looked on my blog so here's a better picture of my card.  So much for posting in the wee wee hours of the morning.

My friend Kim Hecker over at Oak Pond Creations drew this cute little cross-eyed turtle and named her after me.  Aren't I special?  Ok, Ok I hear  your groans, but I am already back to reality.  I decided to make Linda in a Halloween themed card.   She has been busy bubbling up some nasty smelling brew for all those little devils and goblins running around on Halloween night.  I am not sure what all is in it, but since she is cooking, I can bet it isn't turtle soup.

I have been really busy crafting lately.  I haven't posted all the pictures but I will be posting them in the next week or so.  I have been teaching some card classes at my local scrapbook store, Aww Shucks where I met some new friends from all over the United States and Canada.  The nice thing about living in a tourist area is that we meet so many interesting people from many different places.  Kinda like the blogging world.
