Sassy Cafting Buddies

Jeni Tidwell

Kim Hecker Jan Temple
Saturday Kim invited us over to her house for a much needed crafting day.  We used to get together very often, talked almost daily and texted pics every time we created something.  Life has been steering our lives in other directions for the last few months, so when Kim planned this day I was ecstatic.   I was extremely in need of a GF fix.

I picked Jan and Jeni up and we headed over to Oak Pond and Kim was waiting with coffee and pastires.  She had our craft area all set up for us and we just sat right down and got busy.  That Kim even had Harry Potter on so we could listen to the magical music while we crafted.  (We are all serious Harry fans).

Great day and GREAT FRIENDS.  Lord I love being with these gals.  They put a big ole smile on my face.  Thanks to my daughter, Cami who had the good taste and intelligence to marry Bob who's brother Steve had to the intelligence to marry Jeni  who introduced me to Kim and Jan.

Thanks Kim!

  1. I'm so jealous! Wish I had friends that like to craft, they are all into gardening!

  2. I love crafting with friends too, Linda, and it sounds like you had a lovely time! Hugs, Lesley

  3. Linda I'm so glad you gals came over. I hope we can do this more often. It was wonderful spending the day with you, Jeni and Jan. Hugs and happy crafting.

  4. Oh what a fun day and Kim was such a gracious hostess. We definitely need to do it more often. Next time I will make sure to get gussied up for pictures. Lol ~jeni

  5. Oh it is not fair!!!!...Why can't I live near you ????I would have LOVED to have joined in...One day...promise - when my numbers come up!!

  6. Sounds like a SUPER way to spend the day. What a fab idea and I LOVE the idea of coffee and pastries. Did you save me any? LOL
Thanks for playing along in the Sassy Cheryl's SMThursday fun this week.

  7. This is so what I need/want! I just don't have a crafty community around me- not sure if it's because they don't exist here or if I just haven't met them! Looks like fun, lady :-)

  8. OK, so I am so jealous of a crafting day with you, Jeni and your other friends. I at least have a next door neighbor that comes over and craft. This looks like you all had a productive day as well as fun.

Thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment. I love reading them and making new blogging friends from all over the world. Crafting friends are very special friends.

Happy Crafting, Linda
