WOYWW

I have been following this BLOG for sometime now, but never participated. Jeni and I were talking one night and she tried to convince me to post a picture of my workspace. I told her if I took a picture right that moment it would be of my dirty supper dishes on the table. Well she thought that was a hoot and that I should do it. Tonight I was at my Inky Digit Card Club with some of my other Enabler Friends and they convinced me that you all would find this amusing. You see my son and his children have claimed the extra rooms in my home so I found my own little corner of paradise in my kitchen. It is the Hub of our home anyway so I made it my own. I can't hang all my goodies up on the wall or out on display because I don't want them to get greasy (Oh yes, we fry a lot in this Southern Household) so I keep everything in plastic drawers.

On my workspace, you will find the things I just brought home from Club. To the left is a pink bag of different projects I took to show the other Inky Digits and my beloved IPOD. My sewing machine (41 years old) is behind my laptop. My copics, gamasol and a a couple of cards are on the table. The blue and green one with the yellow balloons is something I made for a special little girl in my life. The pink and aqua one in front is one we made at Club tonight.

Hope you get a good laugh out of my posting. Everyone needs a good laugh. You can see what is most important to me - Food and Paper Crafting. Now click on the WOYWW title and you can pop on over to Julia's Blog to see what everyone else is up to this week. Happy crafting!

  4. I'm not laughing! I am smiling tho, your space looks very welcoming, and so are you, obviously, to have your spare rooms all full up, lol! (No doubt I would do the same, and it wouldn't bother me at all to see a potential craft room turned back into a bedroom!)

  11. Welcome to WOYWW. You will love it here. And your first post here is a hoot. Those dishes look pretty clean to me. Looks like they are ready for some good old fried chicken to be placed on them. I have an old sewing machine, too, but mine didn't come with a case. You are lucky considering where it's set up. Sorry I'm late visiting this week, especially since it's your first visit. I'll try to get here sooner next week. Happy belated WOYWW.

  15. Welcome to WOYWW!
Fancy having to share your workspace with diners, how very inconsiderate of them, don't they know you need lots of space? How great that you are in the hub of the household.
Lovely to see your crafting space.
    See you again next week!
