Optimistic

This is the image Cheryl Alger donated for Help for Katie!  It is the third image I have used from that group and each one has taken me outside my normal comfort zone.  If you would like it, you can only get it at the Help For Katie site.  Click the badge on my sidebar and it will direct you to the site to donate.  I have had so much fun creating with the digis and hope we raise bunches of money to help Katie and her lovely family.  I don't know how much we have raised, but it sure has generated a lot of love from the Crafting World!  We wish you well Katie and keep you in our prayer circles!

Cheryl called this littl guy "fishing days".  I called my card Optimistic because he is optimistic he will catch fish for dinner and the little worm is optimistic that he will escape the hook.   I am optimistic that Katie will beat this awful cancer.

All of my paper is from Stampin Up except the DP and I found that in my stash.  It is very old, I do know that.  I stamped the clouds with a SU stamp "Good Neighbors"  I stamped the fish on the inside of my sentiment with a SU stamp from Something Sweet.  I used a little  Meadow "Flower Soft" for the gras.  Doesn't it look soft and cushy for his little bare feet?  I used a little Paper Glaze to make the sneaky worm look gooey and yucky.  I hit the reel with a little Paper Glaze too for effect.  The red is cut from SU "Top Note" die and the corner punch was a Creative Memories punch.  Brad and twine are from my stash and the sentiment was typed on the computer.

All this was for Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #50.  Sassy Peggy gave us a color challenge and this is my take on these colors.  Whatcha think?
