Lavender and Lace

The Digi Shack Gals want us to use "Lavender and Lace" in our projects this week.  Well this ole' gal has been singing that song the entire time I worked on this card.  That is a classic oldie but goodie from the 50's for all of you young whipper snappers.  LOL

This Christmas Wreath is part of the Digi Doodles Shop Christmas Bonus Pack.   It is a bargain hunter's dream.  The set includes 5 digis.  One with pine boughs and bells, a Corrugated Tree with a Big Bow and a couple of other big bows that would be the finishing touch on any gift for any holiday or event.  You really NEED this one in your stash, I promise you.

I colored with my copics and cut out everything with the Large Scalloped Circle Nestibility.  I used two graduating sizes and cut out the frame from some metallic paper in my stash.  To make that place the two die on the your die cutting plate.  You want these to stay perfectly aligned so use a magnetic plate or a piece of scotch tape to hold them in place.  I then ran it through once to cut and once to emboss.  Wallah, you have a fast frame.

The snowflake embossed background paper is a piece of pearled vellum that I ran through the Cuttlebug with a snowflake folder.  It is matted with the same metallic paper and then matted and attached to a SU cardstock paper.

The lacy wreath embellishment is a piece of lace gathered around a Bo Bunny Brad and accented with a tiny burgundy ribbon.  The sentiment is a stamp from my stash and I am sorry, but I don't know the manufacturer.

Hop on over to the Digi Doodle Shop Best Challenges and join in the fun.  You don't have to use a Digi
Doodle digi to play, just use lavender/lace.  Ya'll come now, ya hear?

PS.  Did I mention the word SALE?  They are having one, check my sidebar for all the details.
