Sassy Cheryl is sponsoring this week's Sketch Saturday challenge and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I am using Sally in "A No. 2 Pencil and a Dream". If you would like to have her for yourself, click here. Except for the sentiment, I followed the sketch pretty close. My digi already had a sentiment in it, plus it was on sentiment paper.
I colored her with Copics. My paper is from Graphic 45's, Secret Garden collection. The cloud was punched with some thin glitter paper from my stash using a Friskars Cloud Punch. The "ribbon" is punched with a SU punch. The digi is printed on my VERY favorite paper, Cryogen White from Paper Temptress and the black beads are from my stash.
Love how fast sketch cards come together and I also liked the simplicity of this one. When You are provided a simple sketch, beautiful papers and a fabulous Digi, you really don't need to spend hours and layers of embellishments to make a card the recipient will enjoy.
I'm off to bed now. I usually take advantage of the time my family has gone to sleep to color, but it has been another busy day and this little gal is pooped. I have made 3 and posted 3 cards this week, so I am quite proud of that. Don't get used to seeing this many posts in one week from me. LOL Life has a way of absorbing my coloring time.
Ya'll have a marvelous day tomorrow and I hope you get to spend some crafting time. Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to pop in for a visit. I really appreciate your comments.
