Happy Birthday Kaylee

This is my third time for using this little sweetie from Sassy Cheryl this year. I used it for my gandaughter Ashley's birthday in June, my granddaughter by heart, Savannah's, birthday in June and now for my grandaughter Kaylee's birthday. I have one more grandaughter,Caroline who's birthday is in September and guess what she is getting? lol These four girls are all very close, but oh so different in personality and styles. I decided I would use the same image and personalize each card for the recipient. Kaylee loved her little ruffled pink card. She is such a combination of athelete and girly-girl. Her favorite color is pink and she loved the layers and lacy look. The blue clip toned down the frills just enough and made the colors pop.

I used a doily on this card and then I read on Mish Mashes blog that doilies are the rage right now. I am so happy I am "in the rage". At my age I have trouble keeping up with the styles from these 4 Diva's. They think I am old fashioned. Imagine that..... My paper is Stampin Up, I paper pieced the white dress and ran it through my Cuddlebug with the Dotted Swiss embossing folder then drew the polka dots with my Copics.

Look back in my June posts and see Ashley and Savannah's cards Then check back after September 1st to see Caroline's. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I am open to suggestions for Caroline's card if you care to leave one.

  2. great papers go really well with the sassy image - love these images..ahead of me in the trend stakes - I have not used a doiley yet - still see my grandma putting her cakes on them and can't quite grasp the trend of putting it on a card - works really well with this card though.
