Hello Bee

Sassy Cheryl's challenge this week was polka dots. I used this image a few weeks ago, but she is so cute I had to use it again. It is called "There's A Bee On Your Nose". If you haven't checked out Cheryl Alger's artwork yet, do yourself a favor and click on the "Hello Bee" title above and it will pop you over to her website. But let me warn you you won't pop out in 10 minutes I promise you. Ha Ha

I colored the image with my Copics and cut it out in a circle for the polka dot effect. When I did that it cut off her hairbow so I pulled out my Bow Easy and made her a real polka dotted bow. Gives the card a bit of dimension, whatcha think? When I was looking for blue paper to make the card, I found this package of brown and blue paper from Creative Memories I laid the circle on it and was surprisingly pleased with it. When I began the card, I never planned on using a brown and blue combination. The paper was perfect for my polka dot challenge too.

I enhanced it a bit with my gel pens a piece of blue ribbon and some beige brads. The flower background on the digi circle are punch outs from the package of paper.
I hope you like the card and will leave me a comment below. Thanks for peeking today! Have a blessed day.
