I bought this kit from Paper Craft Kits. It was designed by Karen of kraftykaren.blogspot.com. Karen, a mother of 5 children still at home, has some health problems and they are running a fund raiser to assist with her medical expenses. It was the first time I ever downloaded a kit and I wasn't sure how I would like it. I wanted to make sure it was dimensional so I just played around with different techniques and I really liked how it turned out. All you do is order the kit, download, cut it out and embellish it anyway you want. If it weren't for my bad eyes trying to cut out 6 white teddy bears (so you can layer them for dimension) I would have absolutely loved this kit.
Karen has also started a new blog to sell her designs it is called Krafty Karen's Designs. Please go check it out. Looking for a card with a punch and in a hurry, these kits are perfect. I would also say they would be a great project to share with a grandchild, niece, nephew, child or "craft - challenged" people. Go ahead, check em out and let me know what you think. I ended up with 3 of them!
I took the liberty of doing this card in my own style. I decorated the snowman with Polar White Flower Soft and MS Chunky glitter. I carried that across as snowflakes around the bear too. Three colors of bakers twine with a hanging Christmas ornament gives the popped up sentiment some additional interest. I finished off with green rhinestone gems for a little more bling!
I finished off the inside with the pieces in the kit. I have not made the matching envelope that comes with the kit. Hope you try one. It was a quick bit of fun for me.
Challenges I am entering this in are:
