It's Sketch Time at the Digi Doodle Shop Challenge Blog. Isn't this a pretty sketch to work with. The image I chose to work with this week is called Fish Kiss. I thought these little cuties were perfect for a Wedding, Anniversary, Valentine, or "Make-Up" card. I typed up a sentiment that said O Fish Ally in love, but there wan just not a place for it so I will save it for the inside of the card.
I decided to do a white on white card. To give it interest I did lots of layering and embossing. I printed the image twice and colored the fish on both. I used Paper Glaze on the fish and popped them up for interest. I originally Paper Glazed the entire fish bowl, but my coloring started to bleed so I just used glazed fish instead. Popped a piece of aqua ribbon and some stickles on it and I was finished.
I hope to get around to some more blogs I have been neglecting this week. I have been a terrible blogger lately because I accepted a temporary position at Coastal Carolina University. I caught up a little bit last night and hope to get around some more real soon. I have certainly missed a bunch of pretty things. You guys are all awesome!
I certainly hope you can find time to pop over to see what my marvelously talented DT sistahs at the Digi Doodle Shop have created to inspire you. I would love to see your take on this sketch. You may just win a $10.00 gift certificate to the Digi Doodle Shop for your efforts. We would love to tempt you with one of their images, but you don't have to use it to enter the challenge.
