Summer School

Well I have done it now.  I plagiarized my friend Tammy's card.  I did change it up a bit to make it my own, but the idea was totally hers.  You see, I popped over to her blog to check out her daily post (yes, she is one of those avid crafters that post daily).  Anyway, she had created this funny card with the brightest prettiest colors. I have a special someone who is, as Tammy says, extending her social life at summer school this year.  I just had to make that card immediately for my special someone.  I choose to believe that imitation is a great form of flattery as long as you give the original artist credit for her original work of art.  Just hope Tammy feels the same way.  LOL

This delightful image is from artist Diana Garrison and you can get it over at Squigglefly.  It comes with sentiments and all.  A real bargain for sure.  I printed the image twice.  Once on Cryogen White and a second time on the blue bubble paper.  I colored the fish with my Copics and cut them out.  Foam tape is used to pop them up over their likeness printed on the bubble paper.  My card base is embossed with a SU Square Lattice folder and the blue is a Tim Holtz folder.  Cardstock  is from Stampin Up.

Thanks again Tammy for a fun card.  It earned Grandma a special smile and a big hug!
