46 Years and Still Going Strong

The Kahuna and I celebrated our 46th anniversary this past week and I was in a "mushy" mood.  This image over at Mo's Digital Pencil caught my eye a while back and it suited my mood perfectly.  When my DD saw a picture of this card she laughed and said that it was a photo of us except our hair is white not gray.  I said that this was the back of our heads and they were still gray.  She asked me if I had looked in the mirror lately.  What happened to that sweet daughter we raised?  Do you think raising 3 teenagers would do this to her?

When Jimmy (aka the Kahuna) and I were newly weds, he used to tell me that he looked forward to growing old with me.  He promised me that he would be chasing me around the nursing home in a wheel chair.  I am not sure where all that time went, but we are not far from that wheel chair race.  LOL


The digi is called "Tom and Tilly" and you can get it here.  I colored it with Copics, sponged the background a bit and applied a metal embellishment "Lovers' from my stash.  The dp is Paper Studio's Bella Bohemia collection.
