Bring On The Summer

Mo's Challenge This week is "F is For....." .  I am entering this in the "F" Challenge because of his Front Tooth.  Mo offered a "Facebook Freebie" last week and I was oh so lucky to grab it.  When I saw this little guy, my heart did a smile and I started coloring.

It has been really hot and humid here.  My friend Kim Hecker (Oak Pond Creations) was over and we were coloring under an overhead fan.  My ink kept drying up and making a splotchy mess.  Did you ever have this happen to you?   By the time I figured out it was the fan causing my problem I had ruined 3 digis!  This was the last one I had printed and the ink got a little splotchy on the inner tube.  Kim had her Prismas out, so I borrowed a blue one and tried coloring over the Copics.  Whallah I was able to not only fix the mess, but I liked the results.  Whatcha think?  I used some sand Mudd Puddles mixed with a glittered sand.

The papers are from a 6x6 Echo Park pad called "A Perfect Summer".  The card stock is DCWV and the tag and little plastick stickers are from my stash.   I am so stoked I was able to make use of something from my "oldies but goodies" stash. I know that tag is at least 5 years old.

  1. Your card is adorable and the inner tube looks great, good save! Humidity definitely does not play well with copics!

  2. Such a cheerful summer card, Linda! Love Mo's funny freebie too and when I look at the missing tooth, it reminds me so much at my 6 years old sun ... but he has less teeth. LOL
    Love your card!
Thank you so much for joining us at Mo's Digital Challenge!

    Hugs, Anja
