Summer Flight

Look what that Max made now.  It's an airplane and he is flying it to the beach.  That Max is one smart cookie.  He has made airplanes, cars, telephones, wagons.  He can conquer anything.

Oops, looks like Max is in a tail spin.  That little guy needs to take it slow and easy.  That spot on the beach is not going anywhere, slow and steady Max, you need to land safely if you want to sun and swim.
Max Is Flying High" is one of Cheryl Algers many new digis available over at Sassy Cheryl Digi's store.  Click right here. to make him your own.

I tried to create a sky using this balloon paper from Echo Park's "A Perfect Summer".  I applied Frosted Lace Stickles to the clouds for bits of sparkle. The beach was created with craft paper and an embossing folder.  The skyline is popped up a bit with foam squares.  I found the embossing folder at my LSS, Scrapbooks By The Sea.  (I threw the wrapper away and can't remember the manufacturer.  I'll check on it and update this post with the name.)  Max is colored with Copics, fussy cut and popped up with a Wobble.   Oh my goodness, this is my new favorite toy.   I have had so much fun playing with it.  Just give it a spin and watch it go.  Don't you just love this picture.  I had to post it.  I should have made a video of his spins.  LOL

So, how is it going in your part of the world.  I have noticed during my travels trhough bloggy land this week that everyone, except Chrissy in New Zealand  http://chrissyscardland.blogspot.com/ is complaining about the heat.   Heat has a way of putting a damper on the ole MOJO, but I know a place where lack of MOJO wasn't happening this week.  Click here and go check out what my Sassy Design Sistahs over  came up to help stir your creative juices.  The sky is the limit this week, if I say so myself. Tee Hee Hee.

We would love to see you create a project and enter it in our Outdoor Fun and Games challenge this week.  There are many sites that carry Cheryl Alger designs and they ALL qualify for the chance to win.  So grab a digi/stamp and make some "Outdoor Fun and Games".  Crafting soothes the savage beast inside of you, so get crafting.

  5. What a delightful card Linda! Max looks about ready to take off into the wild blue yonder along with those balloons in the background! Our weather here in Manitoba has been hot & humid for the past few weeks....hot I don't mind but the humidity does me in...have spent lots of time down on the dock, jumping in the water to cool off!
