True Love

I fell in love with this image of Mo's when I first saw it.  My daughter had a Labrador Retriever, Hampton, that  would let the grans crawl all over her.  She never snapped at the kids and they often used her as a pillow.  My goodness we loved that dog.    I won this stamp called Bud's Baby not long ago.  I was ecstatic when I opened the envelope and saw it.

I decided to color her in Copic violet shades and make Bud a blonde color.  I followed a sketch from Sketch Saturday for my layout.  The paper, ribbon and gems are all from my stash.  (Yeah me using up my scraps)  I am trying to get the feel of vintage, (which I love and totally untalented at).  I distressed my edges with a distressing tool and used Concord Grape distress ink on the edges.  I wish now I had used a lighter shade, but what is done, is done.  The dies are Spellbinders and that little tag was in a box of goodies my friend Kim brought me last week.

Whatever life has in store for you this week, I pray that it is "Happy, Happy, Happy".

Challenges I plan to enter this into:
