Cappucciono Anyone Snowman Gift Card Holder

There is a special little lady in my life that I made this for.  It is a giftcard holder made from a Starbucks coffee hugger.  I am going to buy a Starbucks gift card and put in it for Christmas for her.  This image is one of two images that we can buy, color and enter into the challenge for the 2nd Sassy Cheryl Color Me Challenge. If we win, we will get another gift certificate to Sassy Cheryl's store.  I don't know about you, but I couldn't ever win enough gift cards to cover my "I Wants" from her shop.  Cheryl puts out two new images every Tuesday and now she is giving us two more just for the Color Me Challenge.

This gift card holder is simple and quick to make.  I colored my image, cut it out with an oval  Nestibilities.  Cut out a lavender piece of cardstock with the same Nesti, ran it through my CB using the snowflake embossing folder.  I backed the colored image with the snowflake cardstock oval.  I covered the coffee hugger with DP from the Traditions Collection by Michelle Coleman.  Punched a scalloped border and straight strip from the same lavender cardstock and glued it to the covered hugger.  I wrapped some turquoise tulle around it and tied a small bow.  Embellished with a lavender button threaded a snowflake brad through the button holes and attached it to the tulle bow.  I stamped and punched the tag and tied to the button.  The stamps are Tiny Tags and the punch is the jewelers tag punch.  Both are from Stampin UP.  Sprinkled some MS snow glitter around the snowman and I was done.

Wanna try one for yourself ?  You can pick up this image for only $2.00 if you act by Tuesday here.  If you have any questions on covering the coffee huggers, you can email me a linjimco@sc.rr.com.  See you in the challenge.

Totally Papercrafts is having a snow challenge this week, so I entered this card in their challenge too.  Check it out here.  You can make one card and enter into two challenges.  Now how great is that?

Here is another Challenge to enter this in.  One Stop Craft Challenge this week is Snow People.  He is definelty a Snow People.
