The Greatest Gift

These are three cards I am sending that were not made from Digis.  I saw these beautiful rub-ons and just had to use them.  There is no way I could color something as beautiful as they are.  They are a vinyl rub on and they were in the glass ornament section at Michaels.  They are beautifully glittered and when I took a picture of them, they reflected the flash from the camera and the glitter looks a little grainy. But actually they are gorgeous.

I made all three of them in one hour and at this time of year, that is important.  I wanted the card to look like a present to represent the gift of the Christ Child.  The paper was from my stash that I had bought some time ago from Artful Legacy.  It is a shiny pearlescent paper.  Very soft looking.  The Ribbon was from Michaels and is a metallic mesh in light olive and gold.  To give it more color and pop, I lined the ribbon on the card with some Forest Green Cardstock.  I cut the gold and Ivory paper with my Marvy scalloped circle punches.  The stars were rub-ons from the same package.  I tied the bow and the outside was finished.  The bow is big, fluffy and wired, so the recipient will easily be able to reshape after taking it out of the envelope.  The inside sentiment is a sentiment  from PaperCraftsMagazine (Nov./Dec. 2010).  It says "May Peace be your gift at Christmas and your blessing all year through".

Fast with the Wow Factor.  That is what I need right now, trying to finish all my cards. I think these cards have it - do you?
