Bugs & Kisses

It's my awesome, helpful Cathy's turn to host the Totally PaperCrafts Challenge this week.  Cathy has asked us to follow this sketch drawn by the most talented Sue.  I like to follow sketches and this one was a fun one.  I am afraid I got kind of carried away with the size.  I started by printing the digi too large, but it is for my Grandson Chase and at 17  he stands 6' 7".  So this fits him perfectly.

Don't you just love this bug?  She is called Ladybug in Love?   You can get this stamp for your own here.  It is another of the most very talented Cheryl Alger of Sassy Cheryl's fame creations.  Sassy Cheryl's is celebrating their 100th Challenge this week.

I was really happy with the colors in this Bug Card.  Bright, happy, non-traditional colors for Valentines Day.  At 17, I didn't want to create something too cutsie for Chase but this little bug has an expression on his face that just spoke "Chase" to me.  See those crossed feet, he is so shy.  My Chase is not shy by any means, but I am able to embarrass him with my smooches and "wee bits of praise" that I love to tease him with.  Hey, I am calling Grandmother's prerogative here!  When you have the most handsome, brilliant, talented, kind, loving and witty Grandson , you just can't help it. ( Good Lord, I am glad he doesn't read my blog, he would kill me for sure).

Totally PaperCrafts is being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and if you create and enter a card following the sketch, you may win this $25.00 gift certificate.

    1. You probably did. I put the wrong date in when I set up the post. When I caught the error, I deleted it and reposted for today. So sorry, but your memory is fine.
