It's Inspiration Time at Totally PaperCrafts Challenges.

It's the Fabulous Cathy's turn to host our challenge this week and she has chosen a simply yummy picture as our inspiration.  You can get your inspiration from the picture or the color swatch.  Your choice, let those creative juices begin to flow and have some fun.  I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Mel Jen's is our sponsor this week and I love her whimsical designs.  This design is called Hi There Frame and you can get him here for yourself.  I just though he would make the perfect note card set.  I made the box base with a piece of SU blue card stock.  The top is made from a piece of transparency film.  (Sorry about the glare in the photo.  It's not there IRL.)   The box holds a set of 6 note cards that I am giving as a gift.  I made 3 blue and 3 peachy pink cards.  It was definitely a fun gift to make.

I taught this box to my Inky Digit card club Tuesday night and everyone enjoyed it.  They each made 2 boxes in one hour so it doesn't take long at all.  If you would like to see the tutorial I used, click here to see Beate Johns easy to follow directions.  I made the box with a solid top last week and you can see it by viewing the second older post here on my blog.

Well I am off to clean up a teensy bit and then to bed.  I am a working girl now and can't stay up all night blogging anymore.

I do want to take a minute and brag a bit about our glorious weather today.  It was 76 degrees and I took my book outside and read in my back yard.  It was simply divine, I tell you.  My DH is up in Wisconsin today and he called to say that it is snowing there. As much as I would like to see snow, I'll take 76 degrees and sunny any day!  Wherever you are, I hope it gets warm real soon so you can relax in your yard, reading or napping or just enjoying nature.

Take care now and do pop over to Totally Papercrafts challenge to see my those zany talented teamies have designed for you!  The prize is Mel Jens and you know you just love here images to pieces.

I had to look up 76 degrees :-) That's 24C - lovely and warm, no wonder you could sit outside. It's only 6C here right now.
