Got Corn?

Good morning all you Trick or Treaters.  What you say, "Its too early for Trick or Treat"?  Try telling that Sassy Cheryl.  She has tempted me beyond measure into starting my Halloween cards and gifts early this year.  I saw this darling little witch called, "Sassy Sally, The Good Little Witch" and somehow she popped right into my shopping cart.  Cheryl has drawn costumes for her characters.  She has several witches, mouseketeers and a darling little Vampire.  I have a feeling I will just have to have a Halloween party in South Carolina and invite all of them.  They are just too precious to choose just one.

This is a gift I will  be sending to my Grans.  It is a bag of Microwave Popcorn.  I saw a snowman popcorn holder on Pinterest and wanted to make them for Halloween.  I actually made mine in a square holder that is closed on three sides.  I used red line tape to secure it because regular adhesive won't hold.  Here's a picture of the back so you can see how I made it.

Sally is colored with Copics and the sparkles were made with a Gelly Roll Glitter pen.  I cut her out. popped her up with foam tape onto a gorgeous piece of Echo Park Paper from their Apothecary Emporium.  The web borders were punched with a Martha Stewart punch and cut in  half.  Happy Halloween is a stamp from my stash and I can't tell you with made it.
I wrapped my popcorn in a 12x12 piece of paper, glued the ends shut and crimped them  The tag is hung on baker's twine wrapped several times around the popcorn package.  The sentiment was computer generated and matted with black CS cut with Spellbinders Floral Doily Motifs die.  The candy corn was from my stash and I believe it came from Michael's.  I had colored an smaller Sally so I just glued that to the back seam just because she was too cute to leave laying on my craft table.

Well I am off to go shopping for some more Sassy Cheryl digis.  Honest to Goodness they are just the cutest little things and so much fun to color.  This week I get to get 2 of them because I won one today for my post of Kaylee's scrapbook.  I was so darn excited when I got a text from BFF Jeni telling me that I won.  I not only won my choice of digi, but I won a hand colored and signed wall-art illustration from  Miz Sassy Cheryl herself!!!!!!  My poor husband's lottery ticket didn't win, but my entry did. Whoo Hoo.  Now I could handle a few more days like today.  Check out all the wall-art illustrations Cheryl has been creating here

I am entering this card in Sassy Cheryl's "Favorite Color Combination".
