Kaylee Turns Sweet 16

Here is my finished project.  Kaylee turned 16 on July 31, 2012, but with all the crazy schedules in our family, we didn't celebrate until yesterday.  Here is the cover of the book.  The picture I chose was Kaylee when she was a little girl, and I loved it.  The first thing she said was, "Oh Nana, you chose the ugliest picture for the front".  I assure you that this was definitely not the ugliest picture.  But I think she looks precious.

Here are some more pages to share with you.  The last time I scrapped was 2 years ago when I made my oldest Grandson's book.  I enjoyed it so much and do not plan on waiting another 2 years before I do it again.  Our family gets so much enjoyment looking through the books and laughing at all our memories.  Scrapbooking is a valuable gift to leave for your family.  You must try it sometime, if you haven't already.  If you are reading this blog, you probably already know how to do it!

Enjoy:

My daughter and I took the 3 girls to the American Girl store in Chicago.  We told them to give us the Papa face and this was what we got.  Little devils thought they were cute.  (So does their Nana)
.
All 5 of my Grans love to cook.  (They hate doing dishes though)  Kaylee is our Official Pancake Maker.

This one is called appropriately enough "Sisters"

We are all Harry Potter fans.  Everytime a new book came out, the kids would dress in costume and we would head down to Barnes and Nobles for the midnight release party.  In the top pic the kids have their Harry Potter glasses on that was a free gift.  Those parties were so much fun.

This was fun to show.  In one picture she is a sweet innocent angel of an altar server and the next photo shows the black eye she earned in soccer!

                                                                    Kaylee and Dad

I loved the simplicity of this layout of the two girls on the beach.

Hope you enjoyed a few of my favorite pages in Kaylee's Sweet 16 Scrapbook.  I am going to enter this in Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Thursday Challenge.  I'd like to see what is going on in your world.  Take a pic and post it here.

Have a fab rest of the week and happy crafting.  Muwah
