Well here she is my little Sailor Girl, Tilda from the Magnolia Stamps. I finished her brother Edwin last week. I made her to enter into 3 challenges today. CES challenge wants us to use Blue; Totally Papercrafters wants to see bling (used my Silver Sparkle Gel Pen on the anchor and her buttons;and the Magnolia/hanglar Challenge wanted to see buttons, bows and blooms. My buttons are from the same pack of embellishments as the anchor charm. I popped a starburst with a Creative Memories stamp and attached it to the back of the button to make a little flower. I colored her with my Copics and the DP is My Minds Eye American Made Collection. My cardstock is SU and I used my pinking scissors to edge the three layers of paper on the left side of the card. The strip going across the navy base is the strip that is on the bottom of the DP to show what the flip side looks like. I feel real thrifty and creative using that little scrap. And last but not least my wonderful sentiment comes from TLC. I love that site for sentiments. Paulette sure has a way with words.
I love coloring these Magnolia stamps with my Copics. The two go together like peas and carrots.
Grab some of your stash and join in on the fun!
