Special Delivery

Sassy Judy over at Sassy Cheryl's wants us to show her some scallops.  Genius me thought immediately about rows of scallops using my EK Success large scallop border punch.  Well , now I remember why I haven't used this pretty punch in a long time.  Do Not Ever Try to Punch thin DP with it.  The stubborn thing only likes to punch cardstock.  The stork could deliver 3 babies in the time it took me to punch these borders.  Be it as it may, I do love the end result.  It was so worth the effort.  (Please tell me you agree, if not lie and tell me it is gorgeous anyway).

This image is one I purchased a couple of weeks ago and didn't get time to use it.  I love the dapper ensemble the stork is wearing and those expressions on the baby and the stork grabbed my heart and wouldn't let go.  I really didn't have to color him much I decided to leave the hat and stork white and didn't even shadow him.  I also colored the image in pink but chose to sparkle the stork with some Stickles for the girl card.  He turned out quite cute and sparkled up.

DP is from Making Memories, cardstock is SU.  The butterflies are an SU embosslit called beautiful wings.  The digi is cut with a SU die called Big Top Note and the ribbon is from my stash.  I am entering it in Sassy Cheryl's Challenge 71.  Pop over and see what the rest of the team has made.  I promise you it will be worth your time.
